A CITY CRUISE TERMINAL

A PRESENTATION TO THE HONG KONG GOVERNMENT

The architectural team’s concept for the city’s cruise terminal was influenced by local culture and the deeper meaning of the values of the golden carp expressed in design, architecture and place while bringing international expertise.

The project required an understanding of history and culture and MAN GREY were asked to research, name and design the presentation materials and storyboard a 3 minute CGI animation. In keeping with authenticity, a traditional Chinese stitch binding method was used to bind the brochures and an interpretation of a ‘lai-see’ style packet produced to contain the DVD animation.
